My mom and step dad owned an antique auction business at one point. There marriage ended and I ended up with some of the "jewels" left laying around. This gas can was one of those.
I cleaned it up, and painted this beautiful painting on the side of it using acrylic paint. I then sealed it with acrylic sealer.
I believe this to be a 3gal. can. There are no special markings on it to make it a "valuable" antique.
